This is good! Para naman madamayan ang mga Au Pair natin na may mga problema sa kanilang trabaho. In this way, they will feel safe and secure.

That’s very good! While going to language school in Denmark, I met so many au pairs who were taken advantage of and these girls need a place to vent and also to find out about their rights! I met one that even though she got paid the minimum amount of 2500 kr, the family took back 1000 kr claiming it was for her food and utilities!!! Absurd!

Sometimes when you just read it in the newspapers or see it in the TV you’ll think ow it is just another sad story but when you meet them or know some of them personally then you will think is it really happening here in DK? or anywhere else in Europe. Slavery was a thing of the past.
It’s not only Filipinas who are victims but other nationalities as well it just the Filipinas don’t complain like Europeans.
I have a friend who is also Brazilian who was maltreated for 2 years, I met her when she was nearing the end of contract but she don’t know anyone and she thought that was normal but she don’t want to complain. It’s not that she’s dumb she was a teacher in Brazil but she hasn’t had the time to meet others or the time to search for her right. She worked almost 12 hours no free days.Too sad although she’s ok now.
Who can live with 2500 kr/month in DK least with 1500. It’s really sucks!!!
