Elections in the Philippines for 2010 is still very nebulous. There’s this persistent move in Congress for a Constitutional Assembly and the Comelec is now in panic mode since the company that won the bid for poll automation has a problem since its Filipino incorporator backed out. Hope everything will be resolved and there will be poll automation and regular elections in 2010. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Do you think this is the same policy everywhere. I need to renew my old passport though I really don’t need to {being an american citizen now}, I thought it would be useful when I go to the philippines or what not. Anyway, HOW ARE YOU?

@ Maricris,
I’m not so sure if it is a common policy but I read somewhere that they do outreach mission but it depends when there’s an Filipino organization who will request like in our case. It’s a big help to those who lives far from the embassies.
I’m still in Madrid we still miss our father it’s not the same but we just remember all the good memories he left behind but it’s so hot here in the Spain 38 Degrees C. hotter than Philippines. How’s the summer in Charlotte?

Hi Lovelyn,
From what I hear they will plan to hold another Outreach on September this year but if you can not wait you have to go to Oslo. You just have to find a cheaper way top travel to Norway. You can travel by Ferry, by plane or by bus. Ask around and good luck.
